Okay, advertising and marketing is a serious business because all businesses need
to sell their goods or services in order to stay in business let alone build sales
year on year, but I think you’ve got to have a bit of fun with it. Think outside
the box! Although you should try and test traditional mediums, new things such as
viral advertising, making short youtube videos, promoting your business on myspace
and facebook should all be used where possible. Use your budget wisely, there are

Bizyness4u will soon be launching our menulation website and I want to keep you updated
on how we are doing with it. So my idea is to share all my promotional ideas and
activities with all our clients. I’ll let you know how it’s going, what’s working
and what’s not :( I’ll share all my experiences with advertising and marketing, of
course we’ll be hoping to run and maybe design a few adverts for your businesses
in our publications and we’ll be hoping for feedback from you as to how these are
working. We can then fine tune adverts or even totally re-

Take time to understand the mind of your potential customer. What is it they really want and what are their real needs. How do they describe them? Find out by communicating, doing surveys, think how they maybe thinking. Often the buyer and seller are looking down different ends of a telescope. For successful marketing it’s essential to see things from your potential customers point of view.
